This website has been created (in addition to the old one www.ozemail.com.au/~bromagic/) in order to show pictures of all of the new Alan Freeman hybrids as well as other things.
Although it is still under construction, I have uploaded 2319 pictures of around 1900 varieties and lists with corresponding numbers in alphabetical and numerical order.
These pictures include over 1000 recently named plants which I submitted to the BSI for registration on 21st April 08.
Registration is not obligatory but I firmly believe that registration keeps some order to the naming of plants and prevents the use of duplicate names which could result in future chaos. It also provides a visual reference. BSI registration is meaningless in terms of plant quality and no stigma should be attached to plants that are not BSI registered.
Because of the number involved, the BSI is unable to handle these registrations and have asked that they be given Bromagic registration only.
All of these names are therefore followed by the name "Bromagic" to distinguish them from other plants that may be given the same name sometime in the future.
I have checked to see that these names have not already been used.
